The British Hispanic Business Forum held this morning in London on the occasion of the state trip of the Spanish Kings to the United Kingdom, was attended by Antonio Agrasar, CEO of PLEXUS, who had the opportunity to exhibit the international experience of the technological company he runs.

The British Hispanic Business Forum took place at the Maison House, a building near the Bank of England. It was presided over by the King of Spain, Philip VI, and attended by the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Alfonso Datis; the Secretary of State for International Trade, Liam Fox; the Mayor of London, Andrew Parmley; and other prominent figures from both countries.

At the meeting, under the title "The United Kingdom as a place to do business - a Spanish perspective", the leaders of Spanish companies established and exporting to the United Kingdom participated in a roundtable on the main challenges for their companies after the Brexit. Antonio Agrasar, CEO of PLEXUS, participated in the roundtable with José María Álvarez-Pallete, President and CEO of Telefónica; Francisco José Riberas, President and CEO of Gestamp; Nathan Bostock, CEO of Santander UK; and Julio de Olivos, CEO of Jaime Mascaró. Antonia Romeo, Permanent Secretary of the Department of International Trade, moderated this meeting.

PLEXUS, established in the United Kingdom for a decade, was included a year ago as one of the "1000 Companies That Inspire Europe" in the London Stock Exchange Group’s report, as one of the most innovative and growing SMEs in the European Union.

The visit of the TRM Philip and Letizia, officially invited by HM Elisabeth II, is contributing to reflect at the highest level "the excellence and intensity of bilateral ties and relations between the two countries”, as said by the Spanish Foreign Ministry when the trip was announced last March 10th.

This is the first State Visit from Spain to the United Kingdom since King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia visited the country in April 1986.
